Default Takeoffde - I do not want to rain on your parade, but...

I think the Killflags site is down as the captains who administered it are taking a break. See the posts above for information. Note the following re the 86 ships sunk.

A Balao payload is 24. Sixteen torpedeos in the stern compartments and eight aft. If you sink one ship per torpedo, you would expend a total of 96 torpedoes in four journeys (initial mission plus three refueling stops) [24 torpedoes per payload x 4 mission/refueling stops = 96 torpedoes].

Assuming you sink one shp per shot, it is not possible to sink 86 ships if you only refuel and replenish the topedo payload three times. If add to the refueling stops the initial mission departure (for a total of 4 journeys fully armed), that would creat a possibility, but a slim one. (86 targets sunk/24 torpedoes per payload = 3.583 missions [rounded to 4.0 consisting of the initial mission plus three refueling stops]).

Since 86 ships were sunk, ships were sunk at the rate of 1 ship per every 1.14 torpedoes fired (1.14 = 96 torpdoes/86 ships sunk). This is a kill rate per torpedo of 89.58 percent (89.58% = 86 ships sunk/96 torpedoes fired). I submit that this is an impossibility unless manual targeting turned off and/or you have unlimited torpedoes. Almost 90 percent of targets were hit and sunk with one shot. That is unfeasible and extremely unlikely. Experience tells us that many ships, like warships, take multiple hits before sinking. Play with unlimited torpedoes and you can do it, but it is not realistic.

Further, you can sink ships forever if you continue to refuel. But that is not realistic either.

Other than that, congratulations.
