20,000 is steep but I can probably earn that much before April '44, but I don't think I can take command of a IXC/40 which is disappointing... |
It's very easy to change the cost of the renown for anything.
Before you do so you should make a back up of your basic cfg. file.
Just open your basic cfg. file and find the line for renown cost of which ever U-boat you want to upgrade to, and manually change the cost value.
You can do this for any upgrades to your U-boat that you want. When your satisfied with your changes, select save changes when closing your file. Oh and one more thing, I wouldn't perform these changes untill you are starting a new career, or you have finished a patrol. Do not make changes mid patrol.
