No update for me just yet.
Turns out I just had to finagle with some things to get it right. For future reference if anyone else has this problem, all I did was go into the Sound controls via the Control Panel, and in the Playback tab I set my default device to the Digital Audio Interface, which should be a standard option in any rig, I believe. Works like a charm now.
