The Type VIIC/42 only existed on paper and none were actually built... therefore no effort by the GWX team was ever made to modify it or to promote its use. In SH3 it uses the same code files as the VIIC anyway... so its performance is stuck being identical to the VIIC in-game.

Yep that is correct , I think they should have left the type 42 out of the game because it was only on paper , well there were a few that made it but if they are going to have it in the game then its best to use its correct data or just leave it out. But they did have a few finished back then.
