Only reason I can think of why you can't play it is because it's so damn difficult!

Honestly, defended a town from an undead attack to which there seemed to be no end. Now I'm in the castle to get to the source, but I'm having some serious difficulty. Walked into a room with 5 of those Mabari Hounds and they tore my whole party to shreds in 30 secs.

Oh, and just before that I walked into a room with a demon or something with 3 or so lesser demons, barely scratched the big one before getting wiped out. Walked around that room after loading, think I'll give those hounds a wide berth next time too.

However the good comments and praises made me having second thoughts and the question of what the hell am i actually missing. I read the reviews, saw the videos still no tingling to go and buy this.
There honestly isn't a reason not to get this one, if you like the way Bioware does an RPG. It's got an engaging story, never a dull moment, good dialogs, good voice-acting, well thought out combat/stats system, excellent humour, atmospheric settings, intriguing characters and plenty of content.

Oh, and challenging to boot. I'm honestly considering switching to "easy", something I probably haven't done in over 10 years. (but I'll try swapping out some party-members first )

*though I would recommend a 8800GT/9800GT as a minimum, or something similar/close.

I was running at 1680 x 1050. Hmm...maybe I should check into something here.

EDIT: Lowered the resolution to 1280 x 960, turned off vsync and frame buffer effects and still getting fps in the low teens.
I'd say it's an issue with SLI as well. Still ran fine for me at 1600x1200. Can't imagine it uses so much RAM, it runs on consoles as well, after all.
