I mean here's the original game default skin:

Alright don't know if this was done or not but anyway, instead of modding your save file to get more money I just changed some amounts in the basic.cgf to get a half decent income the easy way.

NEUTRAL=1
ALLIED=1
AXIS=-10
WrongShipSunk=-500
FirstRankRenown=1000

AcademyBonus=15000

I made neutral a gain not a loss aswell. For peeps who don't know, now you have a relatively good income without messing with the save game files. You could also crop the 1500 up to 2500 on the patrol renown for a bit more of a boost that's not too extreme.
