Affected companies are less and less "America's" or "Western" business - the one point you seem to miss.
If you have lost 40% of your company and your partners can veto any decision and form deciding majorities by themsleves, you are not in a position anymore to claim you are the ruler in your own house. Not to mention that some (some means: some) of these new partners are associated with circles funding religious fanatism, Muslim terrorism and landtaking.
