Apparently this game has been known for a while, but I only just heard of it like a week ago. I love not being hyped about a new game.
Anyway, I'm a little worried that it might suck because I keep hearing people compare it to Hellgate and even Halo. I hate halo-esque shield/heal gameplay, and I hate that 'mmo-like feeling' that games like Hellgate had. Like the game's environment is just a hollow place to level up in. I hope Borderlands doesn't feel that way.
And then I hear comparisons to freaking Diablo. That's awesome, but I heard that this game's loot is limited to just weapons and there's no storage box to put them in. Too bad, I love decking my character out with badass armor and magic rings and ****. Not just a sweet weapon.
It looks to be a fun coop game. That alone is enough for me to at least try it. Isn't it great? I've been starved for coop games for years. Now there's a bunch of em.
