True dat. I guess the lookouts would be a little too preoccupied to admire the detailing.
LOOKOUT 1: "I say, chappy, that's a hun conning tower coming this way, is it not?"
LOOKOUT 2: "Rather! Shall we rouse the lads?"
LOOKOUT 1: "Just a minute. Hallo, what do we have here?"
LOOKOUT 2: "What what, old trench?"
LOOKOUT 1: "Looks to be a logo of some sort."
LOOKOUT 2: "Let's have a look (raises binoculars). Zounds, tiger, I think you may be on to something."
LOOKOUT 1: "Those jerries love to draw little pictures, eh?"
LOOKOUT 2: "Indeed. Sort of puts one in mind of a devil, doesn't it?"
LOOKOUT 1: "I was thinking more of a satyr, actually."
LOOKOUT 2: "I suppose it could be, yes."
LOOKOUT 1: "Wait, what's that?"
LOOKOUT 2: "Hmm?"
LOOKOUT 1: "Yes. Yes, yes... yes, that's most certainly a projectile of some sort coming out the front end."
LOOKOUT 2: "Certainly looks that way, yes."
LOOKOUT 1: "I don't want to seem presumptuous, but I'm guessing it's a torpedo of some sort."
LOOKOUT 2: "It IS traveling through the water."
LOOKOUT 1: "Perhaps we should alert the lads."
LOOKOUT 2: "But we ARE sure it's a satyr and not a devil that is on the conning tower?"
LOOKOUT 1 (looking through binoculars): Wait... it's most certainly a devil. My apologies, old boy for doubting you."
LOOKOUT 2: "It's quite alright, chap. Couldn't be helped."
LOOKING 1: "It is rather menacing, isn't it?"
LOOKOUT 2: "What is?"
LOOKOUT 1: "The devil on the conning tower. As if they're taking a piss."
LOOKOUT 2: "At us, you mean?"
LOOKOUT 1: "Why certainly. I mean you don't think they'd go through all the damn trouble to paint a damn devil on their bridge to alienate the bloody french would they?"
LOOKOUT 2: "I suppose you're right. I'll wake the lads."
LOOKOUT 1: "Too late."
LOOKOUT 2: "How's that?"
(huge explosion)
