Thanks for the input... more confused now than before.

I reset my game to hard and now I am on manual targetting... took me by surprise I can tell you. Fortunately it was freight and I could use my deck gun. No convoy... that would have been a bad time to find out. I did a couple of test shots before departing Pearl and found the torpedos ran straight and true even with the attack scope pointing away at 10-15 degrees.

Thank you once again... Now... manual targetting where was the posting about that.
