I have a strong dislike for all of those, both in SH3 and SH4. The way it's done is very un-navy-like and just wrong.
If you give the order for, say, ahead flank, no-one is going to say "Yes, sir!" and then give the order to someone else. When the captain gives the order the man in that position repeats it, and that's all. In the US navy he'll follow it with "aye, sir".
I've always found it just plain silly to hit the 'C' key and then have the LI calmly say "Jawohl Herr Kaleun" and then turn around and shout "Alarm!"
