I think you might have to go and search for him - some of them are out and about with their troops fighting and such like. Missing a deadline for a mission never seemed to do me too much harm, though I did get a reputation with an enemy faction for running away! lol everytime I met this one faction in battle I'd get wiped out, so I'd leave a few good men to hold em off so my main contingent and myself could scarpper and regroup. I met another lord allied with the guy I kept retreating from and he knew me as 'the guy who kept running from the field of battle' haha
I enjoyed sacking and raising to the ground the peasant villages of my enemies... murdering everyone in sight and making off with all of their stuff
I tell you, there's a pillaging barbarian thug in all of us, just itching for the opportunity to spill the entrails of some poverty stricken dirt farmers
