I didn't mean just TrackIR. I've been following up progress with HMD's (head mounted displays) since the first Vuzix iWear came out. Resolution is still very limited but I've seen 90degrees+1920x1200 pixels+6dof+natural eye focus for less than 20,000 euros. The old ones were 80,000 and had less resolution. With NVidia now back on the 3d train, we can hope that in a few years they'll be even more afffordable. I already play some games with 3d glasses. It's nice but not THAT good. The focus must be changed by keys to achieve a nice 3d effect. NVidia really need to work out an automatic solution or, even better, bring back the old polygon count chart. And most games are not even suited for 3d. Driving games and sims are particularly bad at it. It's WOOOW for the first time, but after a while it gets annoying because you have objects very close (the cockpit) and all other objects are very far (so no 3d effect).

But a submarine interior is perfect for 3d glasses. And imagine the waves Probably, by the time good HMD's arive on the 1000 euro market, we'll be playing SH6... but still, as we've seen with sh3 and sh4, the devs are bound to reuse some parts so better prepare now for the future.
