Apart from that, I have at least 2 mechanical pencils and about 4 pens (2 regular, 1 shorthand, 1 calligraphy
). Nothing beats shorthand if you want to jot down something really fast. Always beats me when I see students in the lecture hall with their clumsy computers ...
