Speaking of snakes, unbelieveably as it may seem, I think I saw one slither, it was black, under a crack in my foundation last night. I caught it out of the corner of my eye for an instant. I wiggled out of sight, was very thin and moved fast. I could be a baby gardener snake as they are black with a green or red stripe. I have seen many, and I mean meny geckos in my backyard, and it could be lunching on them. We have rattlers aroudn, but most live left for the hills due to construction. I have seen one in the nearby state park, but it had and orange and brown pattern, but no strible. One of my son's friend almost stepped on one at the local elementary school parking lot abiout 3/4 mile from here. I think I will take another look see near my basement.... I will take my most ferious Poodle, Spike, who is 17 pounds to help me out.
