The 'screen-shot' you posted is not original as it is very blurry.
We're having a lot of 'trouble' with the 3D artists not to make it look like that 2nd image (because people can't spend thousands of $/€ on a new PC (in this times of economic crisis)).
And yet, while walking inside the sub, you will be blown away by the level of detail of the 3D models. I guarantee you that.
