I've exhausted all ideas, gonna give up on this one, spent a lot of time trying to get it working to no avail. Have done what you said Rafael, no luck. Closed down all accociated processes with that file on a fresh install after replacing the .dll and the game still crashes.

PS: I installed it on my dad's laptop with Vista and it works fine. But obviously, thats his laptop and not my pc lol
