Very true that it is frustrating, but that is the reality of it. I recommend reading "Silent Victory", and how this type of scenario among othere were frustrating to CO's. But to risk a high speed chase involves getting spotted. This is important because if you are patrolling a shipping lane, the gig is up and the easy fishing is over. It also uses excessive fuel consumption. Better to let them come to you...
