Technically of course, this is a request not a command. Note the use of the words "Will you..."
I have tried omitting those words altogether and employing a movie-style WWII German officer tone of voice, which has had the effect of reducing me to preparing my own meals all damn week and an almost total curtailment of bedroom activity (unless you count changing the sheets & pillow-cases
) At least I am now experiencing to the full the joys of life
