I like to return to base because I like the full immersion experience. There is nothing like it (if you have the imagination and time to indulge). I enjoy coming into port at night when I can be on the sail and give the commands to make into the inner harbor and find a pen to slip in. The patrol is done with a well executed docking and that to me is gratifying ( I wonder if anyone else will concur? ).

Nope one gets no reward. BUT with that said if there was a mod with pennants that pooped up for the claims that would be very desirable so one can take pictures of one's boat for bragging rights!!
