Thanks for the suggestions. I remember now why I uninstalled it the first time. There is no beginners tutorial. I looked at the first several tutorial on the second CD. They are way too complicated for a beginner. I also read the information you suggested. Same deal.
"get in the helo and learn it because its the easiest platform" is not a beginner tutorial.

When I started to fly FS9 I remember getting a one page tutorial on ILS landings. It said, click this, look for this, click that, look for that. see this, see that. After repeating that several times I understood how to make it work. I didnt need to know how the ILS worked in real life, I needed to know how to operate the sim. After being able to push the right buttons, I could operate the game and then later I learend what an ILS is.
I have found nothing like that here or anywhere.. I appreciate your suggestions but that's what your community is missing. IMO. A simple line by line, click by click, "how to" operate the sim. If you can refer me to one I'd be happy to give it a go. About all I have done is turn the ship and launch a torpedo.
I mean I understand the concept of using sensors for detection, I just dont know how to use them in the game.
