No such word. In radio parlance it's Fi-yive, to distinguish it from Niner, since on a scratchy military radio five and nine sound alike.
On the other hand, when I was a radioman the scope that showed signal strength had a two-way scale, both with five as the maximum, and if the signal was perfect the reply was "Reading you five-by-five", which we sometimes shortened to "Reading you fivers."
As to the topic, this is the third thread on this subject going on currently, not to mention that we were talking about it here before the Subsim meeting last October.
