Yes here in Florida in fact I worked on the 'camp' after it closed down. They relocated some of the portable buildings.
But I digress. That case was mostly a case of neglagance and while yes they did beat the kid when he passed out they attemped to revive him by cramming amoina (smelling salts) up his nose while the 'nurse' looked the other way. While on videotape by the way. All were ultimatly found culpable and prosecuted.
In the case of this young boy who knows what kind of abuse he was subjected to. However I seriously doubt prosecution is in the cards. I can say almost certainly there is no videotape and if there was it would never make the news.
Thats the difference.
