But, you can do an experiment. Make sure you have your compressed air supply full. Perform several consecutive dive and surface maneuvers, without any pause between them (i.e. go to periscope depth, surface, go to periscope depth, surface...).
Monitor the amount of compressed air. First few times you surface, the amount stays the same. After that, it drops each time you surface.

I don't know how to explain this, order than the scale doesn't show full air supply.
I did that exactly as you wrote it down, I had the same feeling. And it depends, sometimes the compressed air goes as my image (down below) shows between 6 and 5. After that I surface and my compressed air is low ... Furthermore, it takes even more then one hour before it is full again? And I speak compressed air between 6 and level 5. CO2 is with in couple of minutes OK.

On the other hand, there are times when I am submerged and nothing is happening? Only CO2 is getting low and of course the batteries.
This is a real mystery for me!

Maybe because I use the OLC "Gold" MkII mod, and/or use the malfunction and sabotage in SH3 Commander together.

Maybe someone else on this forum kows the reason?

BTW When I crash dive it's the same ... I tried it in NYGM, almost all compressed air was gone!

Bed time now ... 3.18 AM here in Holland.
