If the port was green then it's a neutral port.
Set SH3 commander to 20 days in port then set out on a shakedown patrol.
On 4th August you'll receive a radio message recalling you.
Teleport back to your home base and your next patrol will start 24th August, giving sufficient time to transit to your patrol area prior to the commencement of hostilities....just like in RL.
