I'm going to be fitting a new twin fan cooler to my Nvidia 8800GTX Gfx card to aid the cooling situation
Problem is there is a heatsink on the motherboard that might get in the way,now I'm assuming that the heatsink is for the onboard Gfx chip,So I was wondering since I won't be using the onboard Gfx,is it safe to remove the Heatsink

Or am I going to have to find and purchase a low profile heatsink
