With the Mini-tweaker load the .txt file called 'shells_zon.txt' and use the drop-down box to find the '88mm_HE_shell'.
MinEF = the minimum damage - try 20 here
MaxEF = the maximum damage - try 50 here
MinRadius = the smallest hole - try 1 here
Max radious = the largest hole - try 3 here
You can do the same for the 88mm AP shells too.
Load the .txt file called 'Guns_sub_sim.txt' in mini-tweaker
use the drop down box to find the gun called '88mm_UDeck_Gun_High_Body' (the gun called '88mm_UDeck_Gun_High_Body (105)' is the 10.5mm for the type 9 boats).
The 'speed traverse' setting is the speed the deck gun turns - try 40 here.
The 'speed elevation' setting is the speed the deck gun elevates - try 20 here.
The 'shell_speed' setting affects the time to target - try 1000 here.
The 'recoil_time' is the time between shots if there is more than one shell in a clip - try a 1 here.
The 'clip_size' setting is the number of shells that are loaded = try a 10 here.
The 'reload_time' setting is the time to load a clip - try a 4 here.
The 'range' setting is the maximum range you are allowed to fire. I put mine to 5000, so that when the crew is on automatic they don't waste ammo on long range shots.
The flack guns and their shells work the same way. However, a word of caution about the 20mm shells. Yes, you can beef them up to hit harder. However, 'shells_sim' is a global file. If you make a 20mm shell hit like a 88mm shell just remember that the enemy uses them too!!!
Have fun,
