Me too, my monitor is maxed out on brightness and i can barely see the bow spray from the bridge during night time...Think i need a new monitor. |
Do either of you have Nvidia cards? If so you should be able to alter the contrast, brightness and gamma via the Nividia Display console that comes with all the most recent (over the last year or two,) drivers. You can adjust these without having to mess with the monitor at all. In fact, I had the same problem and after tweeking my settings in the Nvidia console I was able to turn the brightness on the monitor back down to 50%. Same with contrast.
I'm sure there is an ATI equavalent as well.
