i think i received a similar call when working for the airlines.
It was about midnight, i had just dozed off sound asleep in the hotel room and my phone rings.
i answered it and the voice on the other end of the line sounded as if it belonged to a 15 or 16 year old kid.
he started going on and on about how he was calling from the front desk and he had at least a dozen noise complaints against my room, and would need me to do a series of things to my room in order to make the room more sound proof.
all i said was...
"sir, you have reached one of the airline crew sleep rooms, i would think that if you were from the front desk you would know that... i have a wake up call at 4am that once received indicates i have to get out of bed and fly all damned day tomorrow... i can assure you the only sound coming from this room is the sound of me getting rest."
after about 3 seconds of silence the voice on the other end of the line had a complete change of tone
"sorry to bother you." <CLICK>
i received no further disturbance.
