Fair enough, but what class sub are your pictures taken from? You clearly see a little writing desk to the left of the panel in your pictures, where as in Tomi's model, there is an engine there
It looks like a different sub to me.
I see your point that from a design perspective they should not be obstructed. My point is that, if they were obstructed in the Type II then it should be obstructed in game, no matter how stupid of a design it may have been.
