Here, I just finished what I was saying. Look at this:

I mostly desaturated your picture. I added the dodge and burn. The ship is very pixelated, so I had problems with that, so I cheated and used a paper texture (sort of similar to what German photogrophers used) to cover the pixels a bit. I blurred the picture some, and cropped it to get rid of some of the blacker pixels.
