Or is it enough to remove (if possible) via SH3 Commander only GWX 3.0 and install with SH3 Commander LSH3 v4? Thus leave the original SH3 installation?

You shouldn't rename "c:\Program Files" to something else, if that is what you mean. You should FIRST copy the folder that IS the (still virgin)
SH3 folder. Paste it onto the drive, and
rename that pasted folder.
For those reading this that do run Vista
do not install it in the 'Program Files' folder. It hates when the user makes changes/moves files there. Unless you like to acknowledge User Account Control over and over. Older Windows OSses like XP do not mind it (or maybe that is because they have administrator privaleges by default), but I'm sure future windows versionswill threat the Program Files folder with the same vigilance.
