Are you running any mods?
I know OLC's mod and Mikyal's ACM GUI mod(based on OLC's GUI with some tweaks) doesn't allow to zoom that far and you lose the bearing lines.

No mods, just original game with latest patch. I zoom until I can't zoom any longer but sob doesn't show. Should I press any key or something?
