I think a late term abortion is after 20 weeks. Most doctors agree that the youngest that a child can be born with any chance of survival is 23 weeks (and that has a high risk of major health issues).

I was born at 27 weeks and survived with minimal health problems, but others have been born later and have had greater health issues.
