The Entertainment Earth products are inexpensive. $40.00 for a full size ST original series tricorder with lights and sound is the best deal ever! The moire disc even spins for cripes sake. I've been building and trading ST props for years and this is unbeatable. Sure it's Chinese plastic cheapo, but for a more accurate repo you can spend hundreds. Sheesh, bought any plastic models lately? $40.00 buys a good kit that you need to build and spend another $20.00-30.00 bucks for paints etc.

I'll add that the price of silicon molding rubber is out the roof now and I'll not buy anymore. When you look at the cottage industry polyurethane plastic kits that sell for $100.00-200.00, you don't see the cost of making them in time and materials. I calculated I was earning about $2.00 an hour for the ones I made (mine had lights and sounds).
