The roses for U-boats are contained by these files (without OLC mod, of course):
<SHIII directory>\data\Submarine\NSS_Uboat<Type>\NSS_Uboa t<Type>_shp.tga
For example, this file (for the Type IX/b sub):
<SHIII directory>\data\Submarine\NSS_Uboat9b\NSS_Uboat9b_ shp.tga
To get back the original higher zoom levels for the navigational map (to see the rose more clearly), you may also need to modify this file:
<SHIII directory>\data\Menu\cfg\Maps.cfg
in the row which begins with ZoomLevels.
