Default Possible C3 issue?

Ok, so there we were, April of 41' it was late in the day and dusk would be upon us soon. Ahhh the sea was glass, perfect conditions and my No.1 (Pegleg Jack the Pirate Cat ) could wait no longer. U-100 had lined up a convoy and picked out 2 primary targets. The first target was a T2 which was quickly dispatched with a single well placed fish set for impact amidships and we were graced with the usual display of fireworks and carnage. Pegleg placed his good paw on the glass of the scope as if to say goodbye, or he was flipping them off, I couldn't really tell. Our second target, the C3 was a bit more stubborn which is to be expected since I haven't really been able to find the sweet spot rumored by other Kaleuns who have taken down C3's with a single eel. Not really a concern, it's a large ship and should take a few hits anyhow. SOP aboard my vessel is C3's always get 2 fish initially and we'll come back for the crippled ship if need be after survivors have been rescued. We launch 2 fish at 500m one impact just fore of midships and one magnetic 1m below its known draft directly midships, both hit their mark. Down scope... dive planes set for normal dive... place 3 marks on the chart where we attacked the convoy with 3 fish and set a course 135 degrees off the course of the convoy for egress. We spend a fair amount of time dodging the allies revenge until they could hunt no longer and return to protect their convoy. Jack hisses at the escorts stern in the periscope as we watch them disengage. We get back into a position just South and within visible range of the original attack coordinates then the convoys original course is ordered. Ahhh, smoke off the port bow, it would seem we have a damaged C3 to attend to. The plan is to take him out with the single fish left in tube 4, then it's off to the races for an end around while reloading the tubes. The closer we get to the C3 the more evident the amount of damage the ship has taken and is still moving albeit at only 1Knot. Oh my, that captain has got to be insane! The C3's bow is underwater and he's still trying to keep up with the convoy?

Sorry, story mode off now. The C3's bow was almost entirely underwater accept for a very small portion of the very front of the ship. To me it would seem that a ship that has this much flodding would not be trying to move forward for fear that it may "drive" itself below the surface even more. I wouldn't be surprised if this amount of flodding could be contained with water-tight doors but to keep steaming, to me, is quite a stretch. I apologize for the lack of "quality" screenshots but I don't normally run with external views and just happened to have the event camera on for this patrol.

Keep in mind I'm not complaining in any way. Just wonderin on what ya'lls thoughts are on this. Figured I'd put this up here and if anyone felt a little tweaking might be necessary on their end then cool. Then again something like this "could" be possible although very rare, I wouldn't dispute that. Granted, if the seastate were any higher it should not have survived at all. Then again, I've never had the experience of beign aboard a heavily damaged merchant ship during the 1940's
At the very least I thought it would make for a somewhat interesting post

Installed Mods that may impact shipping:
RUB-1.42
ImprovedConvoys-200507051500

Anything else is just eyecandy but will post it all if requested to.

3 images: The map shows just how far this C3 traveled at 1Knot after I obtained visual, not counting the time it took to get where it did before I found it. In my very rough estimation it traveled in this crippled state for well over 2 hours.

Periscope view of how bad off she was.

This shot was taken right after impact of the final blow and before she started to slip beneath the surface. The best one that shows just how much of the bow was under water.
