I think I can manage this trip. The later it occurs, the better, since I'm laid off from my regular job and trying to save money, but I can make anything after the 4th work. That is assuming that you'll let me crash at your place again, Neal. I'm kind of getting down to the wire on money for the September meet.
I'm also going to try to book a cheap flight for Chad using my stepfather's American Airlines benefits. It's a first-come first-serve thing, so again, the more time to prepare, the better.
Finally, I'd like to know what we are going to be doing, exactly, if you have any information on that. If there is going to be any kind of structural repair or welding involved, I'm going to have to brush up on my welding skills. I can do TiG, MiG, and arc-welding, but it has been years since I applied any of those skills. I can also use an oxyacetylene torch with a fair degree of competence, and am capable of performing basic electrical repairs(mostly limited to basic wiring and circuit troubleshooting). Of course, if they just need another fair hand with a shovel, or someone to do heavy lifting, I haven't forgotten how to do that. One does not easily forget the skills taught by filling a few tens of thousands of sandbags.

Only if you run like a coward! IIRC you took the last hit square in the chest like a good soldier.
