Cannot find the (american) captains room texture files. I looked in textures/Tnormal/Tex and find the CaptainRoom texture files, including the CaptainRoom_sub texture file...but all the textures seem to be for the German captains room.
Is it possible that those files are missing from my directory? Or that I am not looking at the right files? I say that because over the past month or so I have been going into my directory, trying to understand the inner workings and so on, for learning to make mods. Here's a screen of the texture files that I am finding, but like I said, they all seem to be German textures.
Again, I want to change the textures in the american captainsroom (office)
...things like the map on the wall, the subs textures, the pictures...various thing around the room.
Thanx again.

Go to the captainroom.dat file and open the captainroom node and find the object and it will tell you which material it is using. The materials used are the nodes with the colored circles in front of them. Those name will be used in "Linked 3D model" window as a material.
Also you can go to the 3D model Preview window to select the object you want to find out what it is called if you don't understand the word.
For example the ones you show are the German ones and the carpet is CaptainRoom Carpet but the US version uses mochetaB for the carpet.
Also you need to remember these are 3D objects so you can't change the shape of the material without creating a new 3D object. You can change the color or look of it but not the shape. The materials are .dds files with alpha channel (selections) so you may find some that have several objects in one .dds file. An example of this is Ziduri.dds. It has the walls and the map, and what looks like it is one of the desks. If you look in the .dat file for walls it shows ziduri.tga and if you open that node and look at ID07 node that is the map, and they both use the ziduri.dds as a material. So both object use a selection from the same .dds file.
