Paris is awesome!
I know that's not a very "original" recommendation but there's a reason - many reasons, actually - why Paris is so famous. One thing I'll say is that if you do ever go there then try to learn some basic French! The Parisians seem to hate it when people speak English, but if you try to speak French they'll warm to you even if you screw it up. Or maybe they just like to see Englishmen looking like idiots.
Any Parisians reading this? Where's Alex when I need him?
