Hello Captain, check your power supply that came with your computer. If it is only 300 watts that will not be enough for your graphics card. I had the same problem with an ATI card upgrade and it crashed untill I put in a 550 watt power supply. I would suggest you get a power supply of more than what I have got . It doesn't hurt to have too much power. You can always use it to power more cooling fans. You can install this yourself. Just ask someone when you buy it to make sure it is a universal fit.
