Luke AFB, 1983. Flightline Airman got a little close to the F-16 intake while the aircraft was "almost" at idle.

We had to ship the engine registered as Human remains until it got to Hill AFB for "separation".

19 year old kid and the family does not even have a body to bury.

Jet engines suck... if you are in front of them.

If you are behind them, they just blow.
