OK, 11 and 2 are a problem and are not normal. By speed are you talking about time compression or throttle setting? Map resolution is supposed to change with scroll wheel on the mouse, time compression with plus and minus keys and throttle settings with the top row number keys on the keyboard. If they're changing themselves it's something I've never heard of.
First check to see if other programs that use these keys are also malfunctioning. Of course if they are you have a keyboard or mouse problem. If not, reinstallation of SH4 is in order. Follow the instructions in the SH4 Reinstallation stickied thread and you'll be back in business.
Number 3 is a "feature" of RFB. I hate it. If I couldn't change it, it would keep me from playing RFB at all, which would be lousy because RFB is a great mod. You can download and install either
TMOplot, which replaces the hokey RFB plotting system with the great one in TMO, or
EZplot, which plugs in the equally hokey stock plotting system.
Number 4 is a rough one. It's not an RFB "feature" it's a stock glitch. Something sets it off. Popular mythology says it's alt-tabbing out of the game, but I don't believe it. When it happens, save your game, exit, reload and you're back in business without thermal layers at -20'. I don't think you have to exit the game, just save and reload.
