Ok, here's a truth that many won't like. The 'money' is with the consoles at the moment especially on an FPS. I don't know what the Crysis PC sales were but you can expect to easily double them with a release in the console market. Expect RRPs of £39.00 for the Xbox and <sigh> £45.99 for the PS3.
Now, Crytek may or may not have made the move to curb the piracy but my opinion is that PC sales tanked and they need to recoup some costs and the easiest way is on the consoles.
Having a port come to the PC isn't necessarily a bad thing. If Crytek have proved one thing it is that their engine is uniquely scalable. I wouldn't imagine that the PC version would suffer to much. At least not as bad as GTA4.
I'll hold further opinions on this demo until I see full res ingame footage. Engine demos are always better than the final product. Damn hype.
