Destroyers traveling alone are usually the ONLY ones I do attack. In all my careers I've come across them maybe 10 times. Took a shot around 6 times. Sunk 4. Even the ones I missed never knew I was there.
I've always concentrated on merchants(never seen a task force
), but under the right conditions I will consider anything that comes in range.
