Well I tried following a couple of friendlies, ie dunno who it was but was with them. I could see the 190's and then bam I was blown out the sky.
The second mission is daft there are 4 190's and about a billion spitfires chasing them. I came in low behind one and he was turning, (btw they blend in really well with the ground so damn hard to pick them out) somehow he managed to accelerate from me or one of you guys nipped in front. I saw some shooting as I was trying to catch up and we headed into the sun. I saw what I thought was the target 200 metres in front and blew his wing off. I was pretty chuffed with myself till hunter said "Whoever shot down that Spitfire is going to get shot" and the friendly aircraft destroyed came up on screen.
Ho hum.....It seems with Biggin Hill even offline a lot is to do with luck as it is pilot skill. PLaying offline can be quite as bad since the damn AI will steal your kills.
