The video is the news story. They have those parents and the girl in the studio. They keep stumbling over their own words, not a very credible story (they're trying to dismiss it as a timing issue :rotfl
. That girl, when you first see her, has that "I won, haha" look on her face. IMHO clearly a revenge action.
