Fools! It's "for all intents and purposes". "Intensive purposes" does not make any sense!

I've heard the phrase used, but not often. Doesn't make it any less painful, though......

For all its' virtues, Texas is plagued with grammatical abominations, and I am not referring to "ain't" and "y'all". By my estimation, roughly half the populace is incapable of using apostrophes correctly. Another third show serious deficiencies in non-phonetic spelling. Even amongst the functionally literate, malapropisms are common.

Why don't we have a grammar-nazi sticky thread?
