Why was MTW 2 the best? Honestly, I found it to be the worst of them all. I own all of them (with expansions) except Empire, and I should have it within the week if I can scrounge the funds.

If I had to rank em (without including empire), honestly MTW2 would be on the BOTTOM of the list for me personally. RTW would be at the top. The first MTW did alot more right than the second one did. Shogun with MI beats MTW2 in my view. Sure MTW was prettier, but it just... lacked something. I never could put my finger on what exactly, but it just never "grabbed" me like RTW did.
