I don't think the 82nd Airborne would be supportive in any way with the very people who consider them potential "extremists" and "risks". Military people probably aren't too surprised by the DHS report from the administration recently. The people you vote for are not exactly military friendly. Haven't been since before LBJ. I remember the pay freezes and the other crap. The Pay Per View you dream about wouldn't exactly turn out like you would like it to. Trust me.

No offense intended Enigma, but these comments have absolutely no impact coming from a Liberal Democrat voter. The last 8 years of your side bashing the American military while at war, comparing our soldiers and Marines to nazi's and war criminals, all the while making it hard to successfully complete major military objectives, makes your comments above a joke.
In these times, people are protesting the lousy change that you voted for. It is a protest against turning the real America into something it's not. Even the Blue Dog Democrats don't like what's going on, and are taking action. The people out there are the ones who actually make the country work and are the ones who do love America. As you also see them protesting Republicans against their big government efforts as well. And they are definitely not with your people, they are against them. Count on it. But as such, we'll see who is actually shown the door in the end.....
